From teaching to boutique owning to behind the scenes.
To know where you are going, you have to know where you’ve been. Right? I began my professional career as a Special Education middle school teacher. After a four year professional hiatus to raise a family, I started Ivory Thread LLC, an 800 sq. ft. brick and mortar boutique in North Georgia. Building a small business from the ground up was no easy feat! After three wonderful years of building relationships with clients, learning the ins and outs of the buying world and navigating the many hats worn by a small business owner, it was time to sell! Only a short two months later, I found myself reflecting on the things that I most enjoyed and missed about running a business. Behind the scenes was where I was most happy! Creating content, sharing with clients and curating an online presence that is not only aesthetically pleasing but effective in achieving business growth!
